Hands-On Chicken Processing Class Deposit

Course Fee:
$147 per student ($47 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit per person to reserve spot, remaining $100 must be paid in cash only upon arrival)
What you will learn:
- Humane dispatch of a chicken
- Best methods for scaling and plucking
- Proper evisceration (gutting) techniques
- How to part a whole bird (Leg quarters, wings, breasts, and tenderloins).
- Proper packaging
- Food safety basics
What's Included:
- Two (2) live birds will be provided to each student for use in class to bring home when completed
- Course will provide all safety and processing equipment.
- Instructional packet
- Each student will be give a certificate of completion!
Must be 18 years or older!
Rules/Requirements:
- 18 years or older, no exceptions
- Students must wear closed-toe shoes (waterproof is recommended)
- Students must arrive on time, failure to do so may result in expulsion from the course
- Liability waiver must be signed before the start of the course.
- Students must follow the safety instructions of the instructors at all times
- Students are expected to treat all instructors and students in a respectful manner, failure to do so will result in immediate expulsion from the course.
- Course is conducted at our residence, respect for the property and its contents is required, students are expected to stay in the coursework area, failure to respect our property and belongings will result in immediate expulsion from the course and forfeiture of all deposits and fees.
