Cancellation & Refund Policies

Hands-On Classes

  • Deposits are non-refundable.
  • If a student cancels 4 or more calendar days before the class date, their deposit may be applied to one (1) rescheduled class within one year.
  • If a student cancels within 4 days of the class or does not show up, the deposit is forfeited.
  • Rescheduled classes are one-time only. If the student cancels or misses their rescheduled date, the deposit is forfeited.
  • If the class is canceled by the instructor for any reason, the deposit will be refunded.

Microgreens & Pantry Items 

All pantry items are made in an uninspected home kitchen and are sold in accordance with Louisiana Cottage Food Law.

Microgreens and other fresh produce sold by Southern Roots Farm Co. are perishable raw agricultural products sold fresh for weekly delivery. Products should be refrigerated promptly and washed thoroughly before consumption.

Weekly Delivery & Subscription Changes

Orders and subscriptions may be modified, paused, or canceled until midnight on the Sunday prior to the upcoming Thursday delivery.

Because our products are harvested and prepared fresh for active weekly orders and subscriptions, all sales are final once orders are processed.

Refunds & Product Issues

Due to the perishable nature of our products, we do not accept returns on delivered food products.

We stand behind our products. If there is an issue with your order, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery and we will do our best to make it right when possible.

Missed Deliveries

Customers are responsible for ensuring delivery information is accurate and that products are promptly refrigerated after delivery. Because our products are perishable, refunds cannot be issued for missed or delayed retrieval after delivery.

Allergy Notice

Our products are made in a home kitchen that may process common allergens including wheat, dairy, eggs, and tree nuts.
