Our sourdough is made the slow way — with simple ingredients, time, and care. Every order is baked specifically for pickup, never pulled from a freezer or shelf.

Southern Roots Farm Co. is more than food, it’s a way of life. Through Ready, Set, Homestead, we share homesteading our journey, different skills, and have classes for people who want to slow down, grow their own food, and get back to the basics.
Our roots
Howdy, we’re Kael and Jadan. A husband and wife who stepped away from the corporate world to build a life that’s slower, more intentional, and rooted in faith, family, and freedom.
What started as a simple desire to live differently; to feed our family better, and work with our hands— grew into a homesteading journey shared with tens of thousands of families through Ready, Set, Homestead.
Southern Roots Farm Co. was born out of that life. From sourdough to fresh microgreens grown at home, everything we offer reflects how we actually live — simple ingredients, honest work, and no shortcuts.
